Poker Stars - Holdem Manager 3 View FAQ.
I am playing on a site that is not supported by Holdem Manager 2 and would like to import the hand histories to HM2 manually so I will be able to have the stats about the players. I am thinking about writing a small program which will convert the hand histories that I will have from this site to one of supported formats by HM2.
A HUD (or heads-up display) is tracking software that allows you import online poker hand histories. HUDs display information alongside or on top of an online poker site's software, displaying information on how your opponents have previously played hands. Global Poker is currently my favorite poker site than bans HUDs. Their web-only software.
You can disable the module responsible for collecting hand history from your room. To do this, kill the corresponding process in the task manager. The process starts after you open a room. You also need to remove the room hand history folders from auto import list in Hand2Note, if you have added them.
I'm guessing you want to do this so the poker tracker or HM can get hands when you play on different machines? The way I do it is to share the hand history folder in the cloud (essentially a copy of the real one that is updated on change) and then point PT4 to import from this cloud location.
The Wizard will load the hand history files contained in this folder. Note: If there are no hand histories in your PokerStars hand history folder and you are using Holdem Manager 2 it is because HM2 has moved your hand history files to its archive folder.
When PokerTracker 4 has imported the hands from a hand history file the information is stored in a PT4 database. When this has been done, the hand history files are no longer needed (except as a backup in case you need to re-import them).
The FreePokerDB v0.22 program is a fantastic way for a micro-stakes player to get into the world of hand history tracking and take advantage of an HUD at absolutely no cost. If one has the patience to overcome the lengthy installation and debugging process, the reward is a functional program that can save users a nice chunk of change over rival programs like Holdem Manager and PokerTracker.
